Santa Rosa Rise and Shine Child Care Center, with careful consideration of many factors,
has made the decision to remain open for all essential service providers beginning Monday, March 23rd.
Child care is an essential business, and to be able to serve our community we need to be part of the solution during this emergency by limiting social interactions and strategically opening to support essential employees. We are carefully tracking developments, communicating with community care licensing, the 4C's and coordinating with the County and our Health Care Providers.
Under the Sonoma County shelter in place order child care is an essential business when the facility is providing services that enable employees exempted in the Order (essential workers) to work as permitted. (Operating under mandatory condition)
While our first priority is to the safety and health of our entire community, it is also an imperative that we continue to provide our families with the quality care and service they've come to expect from us. The business of caring for our children is critical in all of our daily lives. As we face the shelter in place order, we are no longer allowed to include children of parents that are categorized non-essential workers.
We are indeed facing challenging times again in Sonoma County.
We can face these challenges, as we have in the past, together! We will come through the other side.
Our center provides quality infant care for families in our community. We care for infants ages
3-24 months of age.
This program is child centered and offers a play-orientated approach to learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our center staff are highly qualified and certificated professionals in Early Childhood Education.
